"Before the movie started we complained to a gentleman about how cold it was in the theatre. The employee said he would correct the temperature. The temp was never fixed. After the movie, I found another employee to complain to. This manager claimed that he was never told about the problem. We then located the person who originally stated he would fix the temp. He said that they can not put on the heat but simply turn off the air conditioner. We stated that even that was not done as it was freezing in the theatre. This same person then stated that another employee who is in charge of the air/temp went home already. Imagine an employee who is the only one who can adjust the temp went home before 8pm on a Friday evening. When all was said and done, the employees all stood around and passed the buck. As for me and my two guests, we spent $23.00 for admissions and left as unsatisfied customers. This is precisely why they make other movie theatre nearby."

"The screen was to small in the theatre i was in and, cell phones were ringing the film was out of focus and the picture too dark. I do not go often b/c of that, I can't waste my money to be disappointed or be disrupted during a movie by talkers and cell phones."

"Great place to view a picture, they say it is redone and boy is it ever. Great theatres and digital sound that blows you away. I wish we had this theatre in Canada."

Not A Good Theater...

"If there was another theater to visit I'd go there. In four straight visits, I dealt with an out of focus movie, another movie that the volume was so distorted you had to sit up in your chair to "focus" on the sound, and one other time the film broke and they sent us to a new theater that stunk like new paint. My view is I'd rather not go to the movies if there is no other choice. "

"i've been here many times, before and after the fire. it was really bad before the fire with sticky floors and bad employees. now it is the best local place to go watch a movie after they combined the 2 buildings and remade about everything."

"I was initially surprised, when the ticket office did not accept debit/credit cards. The older section of the theater was run down. For the money, it just wasn't worth it. I'll go to Regal next time."

WORST MOVIE THEATER EVER!

| "I have been looking forward to Garden State since the trailer hit March and the Towne 16 is the only theater that had it playing. I went to the first showing. For about 80% of the film the picture was mis framed and out of focus. I and many other patrons got up about eight times during the film and nothing was done. Then after wards instead of being refunded my money I was given two passes. What good are the passes to a theater I am never going to go to again. This is not the first time this has happened. Many other films I have seen were also mis framed, out of focus or had very poor audio quality. It drives me nuts that the theater spends a lot of money to renovate the snack bar but they can't fix the theaters or hire compentent workers.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!" |
