Self-dubbed "The Crown Jewel of Atlantic City," the Atlantic City Hilton Casino Resort is one of more elegant casino-hotels in town. Its interior is finely appointed with slick Italian marble and beveled gold glass. Several hand-painted and hand-sculptured murals depicting the history of Atlantic City are located throughout the property. Unlike many of the casino hotels in Atlantic City built with gaming as their primary purpose, the Atlantic City Hilton was built as a complete luxury experience. From gaming and accommodations to shopping and entertainment, its intimate, yet lavish surroundings are unique for a boardwalk casino. The resort consists of 805 deluxe hotel rooms, including 200 suites. The gaming floor offers more than 60,000 square feet of space, with more than 1,800 slot machines. Table games include Blackjack, Craps, Roulette, Big Six, Baccarat, Mini-Baccarat, Sic Po, Pai Gow Poker, and Simulcasting. The interior of the gaming hall is elegantly designed and makes for a pleasurable gaming atmosphere. The Hilton features seven restaurants, ranging from gourmet to casual dining. Peregrines, the resort's most formal restaurant, was awarded a Five-Star rating by the American Academy of Restaurant and Hospitality Sciences. The gourmet restaurant offers innovative cuisine featuring a wide array of contemporary American tastes. On the more casual side is the popular Cornucopia Buffet, which serves a land & sea buffet menu. The Hilton has one of the best beach-front areas on the boardwalk. Have drinks at the Dizzy Dolphin or right on the sand at the Hilton Beach Bar. You also have the opportunity to rent chairs, umbrellas, bicycles and of course, drink service. The Hilton also features convention facilities, including 16 meeting rooms, totaling to more than 23,000 square feet, accommodating gatherings of 16 to 1,600 people. A full array of catering and convention services is also offered. Parking is available for 1,800 cars. Guests may choose to utilize valet parking, a brightly lit self-parking garage or ground-level "Park and Lock" lots.

I visit the Hilton at least once per month. I have received room comps in the past and enjoyed our stay. This time, the room was a total disgrace. The room smelled liked mildew.
