Hotel Room Accomodations and A Sraight Up No On Dinner and Breakfast Comps After Hitting A Slot Jackpot

"I visit the Hilton at least once per month. I have received room comps in the past and enjoyed our stay. This time, the room was a total disgrace. The room smelled liked mildew. There was a leak above the toilet from the vent dripping on our heads.The bathtub did not have jet sprays in them as in the past.We decided not to ask for a room change, as we were put into this room (501), since we needed a lower floor room with non smoking. Yet, on our first stay at the Hilton, we made the same request and were put into a two room suite. I filled out a comment card when I checked out and asked the hostess if she really wanted to know how I felt about our most recent visit to the Hilton.
I also hit a $1400 slot machine jackpot on the Saturday before I came down with my wife on Monday. When they took my connections card and license for tax purposes, I mentioned that I was coming down on Monday to sleep over with my wife. They told me that I would be able to be comped for dinner and breakfast.I just needed to check at the connectionsdesk or with a host. I did both on Monday and was told that it wasn't recorded in the computer system. If that's the case, I guess the tax form I was given, is null and void. Needless to say, my experience at the Hilton has gone from a 10 to a 0 in a matter of days.
By the way, the cleaning staff decided to wake our end of the hall up at 9AM."
