The Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa is re-defining the casino experience in Atlantic City. Much of the city's recent renaissance can be attributed to Borgata, which forced the whole city to elevate their levels of service, appearance and incentive. Located at Renaissance Pointe near Harrah's and the Trump Marina, the $1.1 billion casino hotel has had tremendous success since its opening in 2003. Part of the fascination with the Borgata arises from the fact that guests feel as though they have been transported from Atlantic City to the luxury and glitz of the Las Vegas strip. The opulent building is exquisitely designed and has all the high-end features you would expect to find in a resort including a beautiful spa, fine dining and terrific guestrooms.
The Rooms Each room and suite features stylish amenities, including floor-to-ceiling windows; 300-thread-count Egyptian cotton sheets and Egyptian cotton bath sheets, large bathrooms with granite countertops and marble walls and floors; oversized glass-enclosed showers with therapeutic showerheads and body sprays; high-speed internet access, and three phones, each with dual lines. Dining Borgata's 11 dining destinations offer a world of culinary experiences, including celebrity chef Luke Palladino's Italian eateries, Specchio and Ombra; the elegant Suilan by Susanna Foo; the New York landmark Old Homestead Steakhouse, and MIXX, a Latin/Asian restaurant that turns into a hot nightclub. Also on-site: The Metropolitan Café, Oyster Bar and Gelato Bar; Gypsy Bar; Risi Bisi; B Bar; Borgata Buffet, and Noodles of the World (N.O.W.). Nightlife and More Music lovers can find headline acts at The Music Box, a 1,000-seat theater, as well as live bands and music at the Gypsy Bar and B Bar, and a vibrant nightclub at MIXX. The 50,000-square-foot Spa Toccare, complete with salon, fitness center and barbershop, is the place to indulge and escape. Spa Toccare offers an extensive menu of rejuvenating treatments, while the adjoining Shaving Grace Barbershop is a bastion of masculinity complete with a cigar list, pool table and shoeshine. There's More? While riding the wave of their incredible success, The Borgata isn't coasting at all. They've recently announced a $200 million expansion of the gaming floor along with a new dining area that will bring in some of the hugest names in the restaurant game. Bobby Flay, Michael Mina and Wolfgang Puck will open restaurants in the Borgata sometime in mid-2006.
This place is beautiful! The slot machines are so unique and they are "loose" also! The Borgata is clean, the rooms are just beautiful...they give great comps also! I can't wait to return next month. ....Click Here for the full review
