The Anchorage is one of the more popular nightspots on the mainland. It is noted both for its savory cuisine and for being a major nighttime hotspot. The main barroom emanates a nautical theme, with two pool tables, a jukebox, a live DJ on weekends, and several TVs to watch the game. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights are rockin' in here.
A separate dining room offers quiet dining away from the bar. Menu items range from outstanding appetizers, huge burgers, sandwiches and salads, and a wide selection of hearty seafood, chicken and steak entrees. The Anchorage serves lunch and dinner daily from 11am until late night. Meal prices range from $10- $20. Children's menu available. Major credit cards accepted.
Superior service and great specials keep my family coming back on our yearly summer week's visit to Ocean City. Too Busy and Could care less if you leave..
I visited the Anchorage last summer and although, from how packed it was, it appeared to be a very popular place, I was very disappointed. I went for dinner.
