"The decor in this resturant is very nice. I wanted to go to this resturant since before it even opened so I grabbed my hubby & went when it finally opened. You must bring your sweet tooth & an empty stomach. My favorite part was the appetizer which is the pastry chefs choice. It was a cold strawberry soup yummy. My main entree was the bananas forster which came with a peanut butter mousse which was good but was so sweet i could almost see my dentist smile. It was good on a whole but our waiter was a little on the pushy side & was getting mad when we didn't know what we wanted to order. I could understand if it was busy but there was only 1 other couple in the place."
"Gorgeous room and delectable desserts made right in front of you. Perfect for a romantic indulgence. I especially liked the warm chocolate red wine cake. My boyfriend was in love with the chocolate pleasuredome. Very knowledgable staff."
"Our group of 4 visited Brulee on a Friday night in March. We decided that even with the pricey menu, we would test the waters of the first of it's kind dessert restaurant. The chef takes you through a 3 course dessert starting with an "amouche sucree", your main entree and petit fors to end. Two of us ordered coffee which was brought to the table in a frech press and prepared by our server. The first course of this winter menu consisted of an apple sorbet served on thin and crispy apple chips, paired with a shot of warm gala apple cider spiked with Jack Daniel's whiskey. The entrees we tried follow. The Brulee Brulee was a perfect creme brulee, would you expect anything less, served with orange madelines. The madelines were sponge-cake soft and served in a paper cone, a nice french cafe touch. The "Chocolat et Vin Rouge" was a deep chocolate cake with hints of red wine spice served with a red wine granita. The granita was served in a craked bowl crafted of sugar. The granita was topped with another sugar creation, a perfect spiral. Mulled champagne accompamied this confection and was quite aromatic. The "Chocolat Degustation" was a quintet of dark chocolate creations including chocolate sorbet, hazelnut creme brulee, a chocolate dome, flourless chocolate cake and a small sip of hot chocolate topped with cream and a white chocolate cigarette. The "No holes barred" was a pair of fresh donuts topped with almond ice cream and served with a rich butterscotch sauce. Our petit fors consisted of chocolate covered cherries, hazelnut cream filled cookies, passion fruit tarts, a cappucino white chocolate and a miniature chocolate dome. The restaurant also has an extensive list of ports, cognacs, ice wines and after dinner drinks. The prices of the entrees range from 14-24 dollars and include all 3 courses mentioned above. The wine list features selections ranging in price from $7 per glass, up to $675 depending on age and vintage selected. Some quite rare and old cognacs and scotch were highlighted, and you could easily run a pricy tab at this bar. The atmosphere of the establishment was very chic and featured 2 large video screens showing the pastry chefs at work behind the bar. I would reccomend Brulee as a true indulgence you should try at least once. Also, if you are looking to impress, this is certainly the place to have dessert. This truly epitomizes the Dessert Experience. "
