One of the most highly-regarded hang-outs in Somers Point is Charlie's. This
casual bar and restaurant is a local favorite that has great drink specials and
some of the best bar food in the area. It's the kind of place you can sit down
and watch the game (as long as you're a Philly fan), yet it's still suitable for
the whole family.
The menu at Charlie's consists of soups, salads, seafood and really good
burgers. If you like steak sandwiches try Wes' favorite, a juicy, garlicky
treat. Charlie's is most famous for their Tail Tenders (boneless chicken wings)
- these things get devoured by the bucket-full. You can get them (like anything on the menu) to go,
in the dining room or at the bar with an ice-cold beer and some sports TV.
Terrific 25-cent regular wings are also served, as well as homemade soups and salad dressings.
Pool, shuffleboard, darts, Big Event Golf, six TVs and two Sony big screens are available. Serving lunch or an early dinner from 11am-4pm. Dinner from 4pm-Midnight. Late night menu until 2am, seven days a week. Fridays from 3-6pm, $1.50 Margaritas. Specials daily. Happy Hour Monday thru Friday 3-6pm with $1 drafts, $2 domestic bottles and $3 import bottles. |
