The Quarter at the Tropicana is the second location for this wildly popular Philadelphia restaurant. The Quarter's Old Havana theme is elevated to a new level inside Cuba Libre where 36-foot high ceilings and two-story, three-dimensional facades create a living panorama of 1950s Cuba. The food is comprised of authentic Cuban specialties as well as Caribbean dishes with modern and African influences. The bar features more than 70 different premium varieties of rum, which guests can explore either neat or in any number of refreshing island cocktails. Try the Mojito, they're the best in town. While at the bar, check out the replica Soviet missile that's in the center of the bar. If you tip your bartender enough, maybe you can convince him to fire up the rocket and watch the "smoke" blown out of its exhaust. You might also want to pay close attention to the walls surrounding the bar, as each panel depicts a part of the Cuban Missile Crisis. Besides the food and atmosphere, Cuba Libre attracts patrons with hot Latin dancing. After dinner hours, guests can delight in dazzling floor shows, authentic salsa and Latino music, as well as dancing and dance instruction spread out over two stories.
I love Cuba Libre- it's packed on the weekend with people who just want to have fun. The downstairs bar gets a bit too crowded, but you can hang upstairs at the bar with the rocket. I'm definitely coming back. ....Click Here for the full review

The ox tail was the best my wife ever had (and she's an expert) and my arroz con pollo was amazing. Our appateziers and deserts were nothing special but the main courses were so good it didnt matter.
