The Imperial Inn has long been a gastronomic favorite not only among Atlantic City's Asian community, but the entire local and visiting population as well. Encompassing a small corner off one of the city's major arteries - Atlantic Avenue - the restaurant offers a spacious and romantic feel inside, decorated heavily with Asian symbols, icons and furnishings. This popular restaurant is operated under the same family of the renowned Imperial Inn from Philadelphia's Chinatown. Menu items vary little between the two establishments, with a wide selection of cuisine derived from different regions of the Orient, including Mandarin, Cantonese, Szechuan and Chinese.
The Imperial Inn specializes in Peking Duck and their roasted pig is prepared from scratch on premises. On weekdays from 11:30am-3pm an excellent array of lunch specials are available, which includes a choice of more than 10 combination platters for only $6.50.
