Mexico is a highly regarded restaurant that has a large group of dedicated patrons. The rare combination of delicious food and reasonable prices are certainly part of the appeal, but some of the popularity can also be attributed to one dish- the "vuelve a la vida" or "come to life". This appetizer is basically a seafood ceviche mixed with fresh, crushed tomatoes. Somehow the dish doesn't have an overpowering acidity and achieves a delicate balance of delightful flavors. The refreshing dish lives up to its name and can't be found anywhere else in Atlantic City. Mexico also serves plenty of other authentic Mexican dishes that are sure to satisfy. The casual dining room is small, but comfortable and is a great alternative to casino dining. Mexico also has a large bar where you can have a cold cerveza. You can't go wrong here- the service and food are consistently good and well worth the modest prices. Major Credit Cards accepted.

Way better than the casinos!
I went to Mexico with my wife and another couple and we had a truly fantastic meal. The servers are really friendly and the 'come to life' appetizer is one of the best dishes I've ever had.
