A local favorite, most of the patrons at Roberts Place have been going there for years. It's a block off of the beach in North Margate, making it the only `beach block' bar in the northern part of the city (unless you want to walk 1 mile to Ventura's Greenhouse). The cuisine is mostly bar food, and the bartenders are more than happy to pour you a cold drink. Robert's often has spectacularly cheap dinner specials that are very good. Also be on the lookout for happy hours that include drink specials and a free buffet. As you might expect, the atmosphere is very casual.
Robert's is fun because the juke box has tons of crowd pleasers. The staff is exceptional and very friendly. The ribs are the best I've ever eaten, not to mention the pizza and wings.
