Tomatoes is a charming bistro specializing in eclectic cuisine with an Italian accent and a New York flair. The dining room is spacious and simply decorated, but elegant nonetheless. Tomatoes is renowned among locals and visitors alike for their unique and extensive menu which offers generous appetizers, pasta specialties, delicious seafood, veal, and chicken dishes, tempting pizzas prepared in a brick oven, a broad selection of daily specials and the best homemade desserts in the area (cappuccino bar). Tomatoes also specializes in fresh sushi served from the sushi bar. Prices are moderate and the service is both friendly and efficient.
I used to live on the Island, and Tomatoes was always one of my favorite restautants. Every time I'm back at the shore, I try to make it back to Tomatoes.
