A wonderful addition to Atlantic City's landscape is the Quarter, the exciting
new entertainment area at the Tropicana. The three-tiered complex resembles the
streets of Old Havana -complete with lampposts, fountains and faux sky- and
offers visitors a place to stroll, shop and dine without ever having to leave
the casino.
Restaurants
The Trop involved some of the biggest names in dining when developing the
Quarter. Nationally recognized names such as The Palm and P.F. Chang's opened branches in the Quarter as well as regional
eateries such as New York City's famous Italian restaurant, Carmine's. A
perfectly suited match for the Quarter is Cuba Libre, a Philly favorite that has
terrific food and great-looking interior - check out the bar with the mock
Soviet ICBM!
Nightlife
The Quarter is expected to become a prominent nightspot with several upscale bars and lounges. One of the hottest bars in New York City & Miami, Jeffery Chodorow will open another branch of Red Square, a hip, Soviet-inspired vodka bar that will serve drinks at 30 degrees below zero and have a 60-foot bar made of real ice. An authentic Irish Pub named Ri-Ra will also open along with TSOP (The Sound of Philadelphia) a live music and entertainment lounge/restaurant.
Shopping
Retail stores for clothes-hounds will include Brooks Brothers, Cache, Chico's, Barron's, Mondi and Zinman furriers. Other stores include Brandeis Jewlers, Swarovski crystal, Salsa Shoes, Houdini's Magic Shop and The Spy Store. The Quarter
also houses one of the largest spas in New Jersey, the Bluemercury Spa whose client list includes celebrities such as Oprah Winfrey
