Day:
Atlantic City
We recommend using
the three-day guide and adding the following two days.
Those
interested in local ecology or parents looking for an educational
diversion for the kids will enjoy a morning at the Wetlands
Institute. They offer everything from a children’s discovery room
to gardens with seashore plants, to bird and butterfly habitats.
In the
afternoon, an excellent choice is the Cape May Whale Watch and
Research Center where you can take cruises to see whales, dolphins
and various interesting birds.
After such a busy day, head back to Atlantic City and treat
yourself to the Virginia City Buffet at Bally’s Wild Wild West.
It’s probably the best buffet in town.
In order to
work off that buffet dinner, we recommend a day of recreation.
This day applies to visitors of all ages.
Why not start the day with a round of golf.
One of the areas finest courses is Harbor Pines, located in
Egg Harbor Township. A
round of golf is not cheap here, but considering the condition and
layout of this beauty, it’s worth the money.
A
course where you get the most for your money is the Mays Landing
Country Club. Open to
the public, this course offers a challenge for golfers of all
levels, and there is a quality snack bar as well.
An afternoon of fun can be spent at TW Sports Amusement Park.
This is located nearby to both of the courses mentioned
above. TW Sports offers
11 acres of fun-filled excitement for those of all ages.
