Located in Atlantic City's Gardner's Basin, this is one of the few known gems in the area. The Back Bay Ale house offers great views of the Atlantic City inlet and marina area while keeping that intimate seashore ambiance. The food is mainly seafood and American with a large enough selection for everyone. One of the most appealing aspects of this restaurant is that you can park your boat at the city docks in the marina (for free) and walk over to the restaurant (this is true for all of Gardner's Basin). However, you may have to wait a while on the weekends, as the slips are limited. As you might expect, dress very casually for this restaurant. Try to get a seat on the enclosed upstairs deck, which offers the best views in the restaurant while keeping those flying critters out.
