The Erin Bar is one of Atlantic City's more interesting establishments. Judging by appearance, the bar is rustic, unrefined and raw. Admittedly, many of its regular patrons may also be described as such. However, the Erin Bar is a popular watering hole that sees a diverse array of customers, from college-aged locals to visiting Europeans. Thus the crowd can grow very intriguing at times. Social status, wealth, and occupation mean nothing in here. Religion, politics, favorite sports team -- that's a different story!
The Erin Bar is one of the few Atlantic City establishments to allow a wide range of live music, usually on weekends. No casino lounge music here! Entertainment ranges from rock to rap to strange performance art. Again, this only adds to crowd diversity. The Erin Bar has been known to get wild at times. But there have been plenty of nights when only a few regulars are seated at the bar, chatting haughtily for hours about everything and nothing at all. Regardless, when you frequent the Erin Bar a piece of Atlantic City will always leave with you. Open late.
