The bluemercury Spa is located on the first floor of the Tropicana's Quarter. Considered an "apothecary spa", they offer the full range of massages and treatments as well as elixirs that will address all types of beauty ailments. The 10,000 square foot spa has 15 private rooms where you can get a variety therapeutic treatments, some of which were specifically designed for the Trop's location. These treatments include: The Far East, a Japanese inspired treatment that begins with a detoxifying, softening "sake bath" for cell renewal and circulation enhancement, followed by a quick cool shower, a green tea and seaweed wrap and a relaxing massage with rice oil fragranced with pure peach extract; and The Havana, which begins with a bath of sweet orange and lemon oils, an exfoliating brown sugar body scrub, and a massage with lemon shea butter to enrich and soften the skin. bluemercury also offers their signature oxygen facials, therapeutic couples massage and a nail bar that guests may reserve for private manicure and pedicure parties.
I highly recommend the facilities and staff at Blue Mercury. The lounge and "spa water" are a wonderful relaxing retreat. The only marring note was the discomfort suffered in the pedicure chairs - a discomfort alleviated by the wonderful pedicurist, but something that should not be overlooked.
