The Buena Vista Country Club was voted 'Best of the Best' by readers of Powers Golf Guide. This Carolina-style course offers flat terrain, lots of woods and lots of bunkers. The challenge on this course is the various water holes, which come into play on several holes, namely the newly renovated par 3, 17th. The par-72 course is challenging for most skill levels and is modestly priced for the experience. Amenities include a grass tee driving range, a fully stocked pro shop, canopied golf carts, 10th-tee snack stand, golf lessons, practice putting green, club rental, mens and ladies locker rooms with showers, bar, banquet rooms for outings, and a grille room. Rates range from about $40 weekdays to $50 on weekends.
