Located across the Brigantine Bridge from the Atlantic City Marina District, Links at Brigantine Beach offers an experience much like the original courses of the British Isles. Built in 1927, the 18-hole, par-72 course is Scottish links-style, with an open layout along the shore of Brigantine. Golfers will find challenging mounding and water hazards on at least 14 holes. The greens are relatively small... a bump-and-run strategy is often best for keeping scores low. The clubhouse offers food and beverages. Rates are around $70. Open dawn to dusk.
I played Brigantine on a Saturday in September and paid next to nothing compared to the other courses in the area. Watch out for those greenheads!
My buddies and I went to Brigantine Golf Links hoping to play a Scotish style golf course. And boy did we find it. If it wasn't for the AC skyline in the background, you would really feel like you were in Scotland.
