McCullough's is one of Southern New Jersey's newest public championship golf courses. The 18-hole, par 71 course is quickly gaining notoriety as one of the toughest links-style courses in the area. The holes are modeled after the British Isle courses upon which professional tournaments are played. For instance, the 14th hole is a variation of the 14th hole at St. Andrews and the 16th hole is built to match No. 8 at Scotland's Royal Troon, site of the 2004 British Open. The course offers up a variation of the usual style of play found here in New Jersey. Expect to find wide-open fairways, tricky winds, remarkable grass mounds and bunkers, vast natural waste areas, and true undulating greens. You'll feel as though you've been transported from Southern New Jersey to the British Isles!
