The Atlantic City Municipal Bus Terminal is centrally located in the heart of the city, within walking distance to the Convention Center and the Amtrak Station, as well as the beach, boardwalk, 11 out of the city's 14 casinos, and numerous other attractions throughout the downtown area. The terminal is easily accessible to and from the three main arteries leading from the mainland into Atlantic City -- the Atlantic City Expressway, Route 40 (Black Horse Pike), and Route 30 (White Horse Pike).
Three bus lines operate out of the AC Bus Terminal: The NJ TRANSIT (800-582-5946), Academy Bus Lines (800-992-0451), and Greyhound (800/231-2222). Each line provides scheduled service to Atlantic City from the NY/NJ Port Authority terminal at 41st Street and 8th Avenue in New York City. NJ TRANSIT and Greyhound provide scheduled service to Atlantic City from their terminal at 13th and Arch Street, Philadelphia. Greyhound provides scheduled service from their terminals at 1005 First Street, NE in Washington, D.C. and 210 W. Fayette Street, Baltimore.
