Jitneys are by far the best way to get around Atlantic City. Jitneys are 13-passenger minibuses that run 24 hours, 365 days a year. Cost is but a mere $1.50, no matter how far or near you want to go. Jitneys travel the length of the city, from the Marina to Jackson Avenue, the southern-most point of town. All casinos are accessible via Jitney.
You must wait at a designated Jitney stop along the street in order to board. Jitney's come about every two minutes, so the wait is very minimal. Jitney stops are marked by red, white and blue signs which stand curbside along the sidewalks. Jitneys are a great way to travel to and from casino properties, as each casino has a Jitney stop out front. For your convenience, every sign located by each Casino Stop will have color-coded numbers. Decide your route, then just look for the corresponding color coded number on each Jitney.
